Sam Nia, President and founder of Fateminia Rug Design & Production Company, is a world renowned expert in Persian rug design and production. His love and knowledge of traditional designs and modern motifs became the foundation for his unique works of art.

For the past quarter of a century Mr. Nia has been intimately involved in all facets of Persian rug design and production. In 1978, he started his journey in Europe and in 1998 established Fateminia Rug Design and Production Company.

The company is based in San Diego, California and the production facilities are located in the ancient state of Azerbayejan, a northern province in the country of Iran where Persian rugs have been made for over 3000 years. We have preserved ancient excellence in carpeting and managed to integrate it with modern designs and uniqueness.
